Who came up with the name D*Votion?
It was a group thing kinda. One day when Christi & Ashley was sleeping, I (Shanen) was looking through my thesuarus for some help. Christi & Ash wanted a name having to do with owed to or innocence. I looked up words for innocence & I looked up words for "owd to" & I came upon the words "Sinless" & Devotion". I told them in the morning & they decided on Devotion but instead of just devotion, make it D*Votion (with the star).
Why "D*Votion"?
We wanted "D*Votion" because we are devoted to the love of music. We are also normal people so it's our way of also saying we are devoted to being fans of everyone we love & adore..... (Including the Lord, our families, friends, Nsync, & fans like you! etc.....)
What's with the Star?
Our families always encouraged us that if we wanted to be *Stars*, then to do what ever it takes to get people to open their ears & listen to us so we wanted the star in our name. Hey, & besides, it looks cool doesn't it? LOL
Who's your manager?
Our Manager name is Ed. We also have ken to help us. Ed is the main guy of Monkey Man Productions (Address soming soon)
Where can I hear you guys play?
As we speak, we are soon to be making a demo tape. Soon, on this page, will be a voice mail number you can call to hear us sing. We don't have any dates yet but we are working on it!
Who's the person doing the work on this site?
The typing? That would be me, Shanen of D*Votion. I do the updating. It's a group thing though. We discuss what to put of the site, I go to my house & I klink away! CLUNK CLUNK! I'm a pretty fast typer though.
What's with the different colors?
Christi's Fave= Baby Blue
Shanen's Fave= Pink
Ashley's fave= Baby Purple
Groups fave= Silver
We have each of out things color coded. If the thing you read is do any of us individually, then it's in out color. If it's about/to the whole group, It's in the group color (Silver)
